It is Snowing again! YEAH!

Good thing I took the sunrise pictures yesterday. Today, it is snowing heavily again. We are expecting snow today, tomorrow and Tuesday. We really need the snow pack for the summer. It doesn't matter what the weather is like, it is always beautiful on the mountain.

Another BEAUTIFUL Sunrise

More Information

I've had a number of people comment on the house tour that I left some rooms off. Once you have looked at the info on the page, you must click "older posts" at the bottom right of the page. This takes you to more entries. They really are not older, this blog only allows so many entries per page. Some of you may have missed other things if you haven't clicked back.
The sunrise this morning was absolutely spectacular. Pink skies and wispy gray clouds. Then, the ball of light. We watched this out of the breakfast room window.

Finally, the house tour.

I finally made time to get this short tour on the blog. I continue to work on Christmas cards too. This past Tuesday morning I determined that the road would be perfect for sledding. And I was right. I got out one of our Flexible Flyer sleds, soaped the runners and I was off. What fun! It was as fast as a luge run and I laughed the entire way down. Rich thought I should take a flare gun, just in case I went over the side and he would have to come and look for me. I didn't need one. I'm an expert at sledding. One of these days I'll have him take pictures of me sledding.

Welcome to our home!

This is from the foyer.

Breakfast Room

Pantry

We are getting it stocked up.

Rich's Study

Also, soon to have built ins. And Rich needs them as he has so much stuff that he like to stack. I like to have everything hidden behind doors.

Master Bedroom

I took these pictures from the door into the room and the window side. Also one picture is of the entry into the bathroom

Master Closet

We are having the cabinet people do built ins.

Master Bathroom

I love my huge shower with bench. Although, right now you can imagine I am not sitting on it because it is toooo coold!

Stairway to the Basement

One of the Basement guest rooms

I only have pictures of one bedroom as Andrew is living in the second bedroom and I didn't invade his privacy. So, unlike a mom!

Finished Bathroom in Basement

We did finish the full bath in the basement as Andrew is living with us right now and we knew it would be good to have a 3rd bathroom to use. I love the curved shower rod and the "hotel style" curtain. The wall color is Caribou. The counter top is "Sea Grass" limstone and it looks like it has fossils in it. All the bathrooms have the same countertop.

Basement Family Room

Stacked with some boxes that I need to peruse. The basement is not finished but Rich put up canvas tarps and cardboard doors to make separate bedrooms and also keep the space warmer.

Basement Storage Rooms

We made sure we had lots of storage space. As you can see in the pictures, we have lots of stuff!

Basement Patios

As you are leaving.

This is the back of the house and the side as you head down the driveway.

We still have a porta potty!

This is going to be great for the sledding parties we have this winter. No one will have to go up to the house.

More Snow

Another 12 inches of snow fell today. We are still loving it. It makes the mountains so beautiful to look at. I have been so busy putting away the Christmas things and unpacking more boxes that I haven't had time to do the house photo tour. My plan is to take the pictures this week and get them posted. Rich spent about 3 hours tonight blowing snow. This one was a very wet snow, so it will probably be a little icy tomorrow when I leave for work.

Yesterday's snowfall.

Itook a picture this morning of the snow piled on our picnic table and Rich's new sleigh that Santa left him. Now, we really are westerners - we have a towing trailer, the Rhino, a tractor and a pickup truck. Rich just needs a dog to ride around in the pick up bed.

Fog and Frost

One day, the wind blew the fog through and it was so cold that it frosted all the pine needles.

I can't get enough of the view.
