OK, back to Construction

Today, the foundation walls were poured. A big cement boom was used. It was very interesting to see them "tubing" the concrete into the forms. The frames will come down in the next day or two. The drain around the house will go in and then, the backfilling. Once the backfill of dirt is complete and the plumber has completed the pipes for the basement bathroom, the floor will be poured. I didn't realize what a complicated process it is just to do the foundation. But of course, Rich says the foundation has to be perfect or nothing else will go right. He is right, but I am a little impatient. But most of you probably already knew that.
